Millions of patients with CCIs have difficulty telling stories and maintaining conversations, placing stress on their relationships with caregivers. Speech-Language Pathologists and researchers assess CCIs by annotating guided storytelling sessions. We will enhance their ability to characterize and treat these difficulties, specifically by developing a system to automatically label clinically relevant elements of “healthy storytelling.”
