Vermont EPSCoR is happy to offer an Alan Alda Communicating Science Workshop on Monday, January 11, 2027 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the UVM Alumni House (61 Summit Street, Burlington, VT).
 
There are 16 total available seats available for this day-long workshop. Breakfast refreshments and lunch will be provided, and there is no cost to attendees.
 
The Alan Alda Communicating Science Workshop provides valuable tools for honing your ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to a broad audience. All members of the SOCKS team are highly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity, as it provides valuable communications training.
 
You can register via the link below. The deadline for registration is December 11, 2026. Those interested are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. We will accept registrations on a first come, first served basis until we reach the cap of 16 participants. Additional participants will be placed on a waiting list.
