Juniper Lovato, PhD, SOCKS co-PI (shown left in photo), spoke with graduate students from across the disciplines, at the Howe Library on University of Vermont (UVM) campus, providing an installment for the "Random Chat about Data" series on November 15, 2024. Dr. Lovato spoke about her background and journey to the SOCKS project, research that has intrigued her over the years, and topics related to data ethics.

"Random Chat about Data" is an ongoing series presented by UVM Libraries that allows a venue for all graduate students to speak with experts in fields of interest. Students provide input on desired topics, and the format provides an opportunity for conversational exchange, mentoring and professional development.
