Terry Barrett, MS, Senior Research Facilitator at the Vermont Advanced Computing Center (VACC) and member of the SOCKS Capacity Team, presented a SOCKS Workshop on October 23, 2024.

The workshop, "How to Set Up and Run the On-Prem Llama-3 LLM on the VACC," provided information on the use of large language models (LLMs) on VACC tools. Attendees from the SOCKS project got an overview of available tools and an understanding of how to fine-tune models for better performance around specific areas of interest.
